Schools' Leader

PARC Swim is looking for an experienced Schools’ Leader to lead a large team of teachers and to look after the very busy intensive lesson and fun day programs offered at PARC to local primary and secondary schools.  PARC has a vision that "Every child in Frankston can swim" and you will be the person leading the team who will be making the difference to the lives of local children.This is a full time position.To be successful in this role you will need to have:Experience in a large swim school environment and understanding of the demands of large centres (essential)Well-developed written and verbal communication, interpersonal and representation skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships both internally and externally with a diverse range of stakeholdersExperience in the design, development and management of budgetsExcellent administration skills and attention to detail, particularly spelling and grammarExperience in conflict resolutionComputer literacy - knowledge of one note, Word, Outlook, Excel, Zoom etcWorking knowledge of Human Force (desirable)Experience in and working knowledge of LINKS (desirable)Experience in and working knowledge of SwimDesk (desirable)An AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety License or ASCTA Swim Teacher and an Assessor qualification (essential)Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:To lead and supervise a pool of casual staff which includes rostering, area induction, training, shift supervision, teacher observationsEnsuring high quality swimming lessons are provided at all times whilst maintaining industry standards and qualifications.Ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered and maintained by the swim teachers working in the Schools’ ProgramCommunication with the schools to organise their lesson program, catering to their needsEnsuring all schools are issued booking forms, requests for deposit payments, receive a confirmation form and are invoiced for their programs no later than the end date of their programProviding certificates and ensuring they are returned to the school within one week of the program conclusionCommunicating with new schools and developing an all-inclusive programEmployment is subject to completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and current Working With Children Check.It may be a requirement of this position to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per government directives and/or mandates at the time of employment.For a copy of the Position Description or to apply, send your resume and cover letter addressing key responsibilities to Alyssa Danger at Alyssa.Danger@peninsulaleisure.com.au or call Alyssa for an informal chat on 0408 512 392.Applications close Sunday 24th October, 5pm. Previous Applicants need not apply.Peninsula Leisure is an equal opportunity and child safe employer.Schools' Leader Position Description 55000 AUD Australia - VIC Melbourne - All locations Bayside & South Eastern Suburbs Frankston 3199
