Operations Coordinator

Are you ready to take the next step in your aquatic operations career?Peninsula Leisure has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic leadership team at the award-winning Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) in Frankston.Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is responsible for providing leadership to the Lifeguard, Senior Lifeguard & Duty Manager teams.The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for training, recruitment, rostering and staff development.  The Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Operations Manager on the execution of PARC's objectives, by leading the Lifeguard, Senior Lifeguard & Duty Manager teams and ensuring that the highest professional standards and safety are experienced by our customers. The successful applicant will have:At least 2 years’ experience leading the operations of large multi-purpose leisure facilities.Experience in leading and coaching diverse teams of aquatic employees.Experience in Pool Plant Operations and equipment maintenance.Strong knowledge of the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations and supervision planning.Knowledge of Risk Management and Occupational Health and Safety issues relevant to a Leisure Centre environmentEffective time management and administration skillsAbility to demonstrate and display Peninsula Leisure valuesPool Lifeguard Certificate.Current Level 2 First Aid.Aquatic Technical Operator Certificate.Employment will be subject to a National Police check and a Working with Children Check.  Please see the Operations Coordinator Position Description for additional role information.
