Facilities Maintenance Leader

Are you ready to take the next step in your aquatic Facilities Maintenance career? Peninsula Leisure has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time Facilities Maintenance Leader to join our dynamic leadership team at the award-winning Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) in Frankston. Reporting to the Asset and Facilities Specialist, this role is responsible for ensuring PARC’s assets and facility are maintained and presented to the highest possible standard. The Facilities Maintenance Leader will be responsible for liaising with PARC internal staff, external contractors, patrons, and other stakeholders for all reactive and preventative maintenance works, as well as Capital Works in line with the Asset Management Plan.  The Facilities Maintenance Leader will work closely with the Asset and Facility Specialist on the execution of PARC's maintenance obligations, including following budgets, writing recommendations and memorandums, organizing scopes and schedules, and rostering. The Facilities Maintenance Leader will have a direct report with the Facilities Maintenance Officer (FMO), and will be involved in devising and running training sessions for the FMO, cleaning and presentation team, the Duty Manager group, as well as the broader employee team.  The successful applicant will have: Demonstrated people leadership experience, prepared to lead by example, lead performance and deliver excellence Strong administration skills including understanding of Building Maintenance Systems and controls Strong mechanical and pool plant knowledge  Strong interpersonal experience focus Ability to create and manage multiple rosters Knowledge of Risk Management and Occupational Health and Safety issues relevant to a Leisure Centre environment Effective time management and administration skills Ability to demonstrate and display Peninsula Leisure values Employment will be subject to a National Police check and a Working with Children Check.
