Marketing, Digital and Communications Specialist

Reporting to the CEO, this role will lead and support the Marketing, Sales and Customer Service Teams with effective, authentic leadership, implement data driven marketing, communications and digital strategies and support the achievement of business targets by driving key digital and strategic projects.About usPeninsula Leisure is a company focused on reimagining health and wellbeing experiences to activate and engage our community. Our asset management portfolio currently includes Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC) and Pines Forest Aquatic Centre (PINES).We are committed to providing quality sports, recreation and leisure products and services driven by the exceptional talent of our people and our courage to be unique and think differently.At present, both our assets (PARC and PINES) are closed due to the COVID-19 crisis, however there is still much work to be done in terms of strategy communication, remote engagement and key strategic projects. As restrictions are lifted, we will work through a phased reopen approach, ensuring community safety and activation.About youYou are a senior marketing manager, with over 5 years’ experience in a leadership role. A data and detail driven person, you have a strong strategic understanding of marketing disciplines, including communications, digital and social media. With a high level of written and verbal communication, you value a strong customer first mindset and display exceptional operational delivery, with proven experience working in a dynamic team environment. You are someone who isn’t afraid to roll up our sleeves, offering support and guidance on all levels of the business. You will also have:Creative flair to generate new business ideas, growth initiatives, and community engagement strategies to enhance brand and customer experience.A strategic, growth thinking mindset with best practice methodology in the areas of marketing, customer experience, communications, community, and commercial.The ability to assess the balance between commercial and community outcomes, creating and delivering value through traditional and non-traditional opportunities.About the roleYou will be joining Peninsula Leisure as senior leader, on a flexible part time basis.
